Four stars. A surprisingly solid bowl of Cantonese wanton mee right inside HK airport. The noodles had a nice springy bite, the broth was light yet flavorful, and the wantons were plump with fresh shrimp filling. The fried wantons are the bomb, crispy, golden, and addictive. Portions were decent for airport dining and service was quick, perfect before a flight. Not quite street stall magic, but definitely satisfying and far better than expected for airport food. A comforting taste of Hong Kong right after landing.

Ho Hung Kee is my absolute go-to whenever I'm at the HK airport. I practically can't leave Hong Kong without stopping here to get my comfort food fix first! This place is a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot, and it shows. They are famous for their Beef Chow Fun, so naturally, that was at the top of our list. We were heading out to Vietnam and wanted to introduce the food to our son who was traveling with us. We went all out and ordered the famous Beef Chow Fun, the Char Siu (BBQ pork) and Roasted Goose combo, and a bowl of Wonton Noodles. Everything just hit the spot. The flavors were authentic and exactly what we needed before a long travel day. We got super lucky this time—no line at all! The service was friendly and surprisingly fast, which is a huge plus when you have a flight to catch. We left feeling full, satisfied, and ready for our vacation. Definitely recommend grabbing a bite here if you're passing through HKG!

A quick airport lunc we ordered pork knuckle noodles, shrimp wonton noodles, fresh shrimp with beancurd skin, red bean soup and sesame paste for dessert. My top pick was definitely the red bean soup just the right sweetness and so tasty. The sesame paste wasn’t up to the standard of city restaurants, yet it was still decent.
